The Whatever collection is inspired by the Anti-design movement of the 1960s, which happened as a reaction to the perfect modernist 'form follows function' objects that helped to flourish our consumer society. Here form does not follow function. instead, the form and design is a 'whatever' This shelf was 'designed' in a matter of seconds using a spontaneous and direct approach to hands-on making.
